2002 - Present New Revolution Productions LLC

2002 - 2005 ConnectLive Communications, Herndon, VA, Facilities Manager / Engineer / Liaison

Main responsibilities: Managing offsite media facilities for various government agencies, operating all equipment and quality control, as well as training and managing new employees. Also coordinated and managed various media events around the country.

·Completely redesigned the Treasury’s nonfunctional media room/VTC to make it both state of the art and functional. Recommended and implemented all equipment purchases.
·Taped, webcast and sent out audio and video feeds for scheduled and last minute national press conferences for all high level Treasury staff including the Secretary of the Treasury.
·Received numerous accolades from the Treasury Secretary and staff for continually meeting critical deadlines. Not one event under my management was delayed in three years of service.
·Created and implemented a system to track and maintain the Treasury’s equipment inventory, allowing for quicker setup and smoother operations.
·Managed crews and coordinated logistics for out of town taped and webcast events on numerous occasions in Chicago, New York and San Francisco. Superior performance at SEC events led to the request that I lead all future SEC out of town webcasting events.
·Constantly worked in an ever changing media environment where every event had different requirements. Used problem solving skills to make events succeed.
·Managed the Herndon based Broadcast Operations Center when the Vice President of the Company was out of the office, allowing for 100% up-time of facility.
·Assisted in the design and set up of new Broadcast Operations Center during the relocation of headquarters to Herndon, making it functional and more efficient.
·Assembled and performed trouble shooting of webcasting and encoding servers to maintain 100% performance rate of webcasts.
·Demonstrated multi-tasking capabilities by consistently handling remote operation of the National Press Club, including all routing to NBC, ABC, Bloomberg, C-SPAN, Fox, MSNBC, as well as managing up to 10 robotic cameras.

1998 - 2002 C-Span Television Networks, Washington, D.C., Field Technician

Main Responsibilities: Videotaping, audio, lighting, and microwave transmissions of government hearings, current events, political rallies, and many other functions including many live events.

·Managed setup and operation of cameras, audio, lighting for live and taped events. Successfully completed over 100 events.
·Assisted with operations in the microwave truck and setup of microwave transmission dishes, allowing C-SPAN to bring almost every event live to a national audience.
·Exhibited professionalism, leading to assignments on prestigious events in major government buildings including Treasury, Whitehouse, Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Department of Energy, and many others.
